Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has sanctioned the ultimate location survey of the 111 km Imphal-Moreh part for the development of a brand new broad gauge railway line.
The Railway line goals to hyperlink India with neighboring Myanmar.
Minister Vaishnaw, accompanied by Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh, after conducting an aerial inspection of railway initiatives in Manipur, ordered the placement survey for the brand new BG line as much as Moreh, studies mentioned.
Moreh is a crucial border commerce centre alongside the India-Myanmar border with japanese Manipur.
