Like Ayodhya, there shall be a temple in Mathura, Vrindavan: Yogi

Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday stated that like Ayodhya and Varanasi, the cities of Mathura and Vrindavan in western Uttar Pradesh will even get a temple and the work for a similar was “in progress”.

Addressing a public assembly at Amroha, the CM, who for the primary time introduced up the problem of a temple in Mathura, stated  the Bharatiya Janata Get together (BJP) honoured its dedication of building of the Ram temple in Ayodhya.

“We had promised to start out work on a grand Ram temple at Ayodhya. Modi ji has began the work, isn’t it? And, a grand abode of Lord Shiva can also be arising in Kashi. You could have seen it, proper? Then, how can Mathura and Vrindavan be left behind,” he requested the group.

“There (Mathura) additionally, work is in progress,” stated the CM. Earlier , deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya tweeted that preparations had been underway for the development of a grand temple in Mathura, days after the Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha, a right-wing group, introduced plans to put in a Krishna idol on the Shahi Eidgah in Mathura.

The Opposition has termed the demand as a polarising act by the ruling BJP. “All of them at the moment are taking part in brazenly and unabashedly to a well-known polarisation script,” stated Congress spokesman Zishan Haider.
